Alan's Characters/The Renegades

Hello! Time to start posting characters! Yay! The reason I put the /The Renegades up there is because it's the name of my superhero team, and even when not in their own universe I would still probably use them together. I'll get myself started, now, with Alan himself/myself!

Voice: He has the voice of me, his creator, and I have no idea if I sound like anyone else.

Body Hair: Being a cheetah, has cheetah fur on his body
Hair Style/color: Brown hair the color of his spots in a short cropped style
Extra Appearance Info: Has a spiraling mark on his shoulders, the left shoulder spiral clockwise and the right shoulder spiral counterclockwise. The fur on the spirals is black.

Upper Body Clothes: Comfortable shirts that fit his hero costume underneath.
Lower Body Clothes: Pants over his costume, with a hole for the tail.
Accessories: Small hoop earrings.
Footwear: Whatever fits and is comfortable. Tends for shoes without laces.
Weapons (including claws etc.): Two chakrams, both copper-orange sunbursts made of a metallic alloy that is hard to dull.
Uniform: An orange and black outfit, short sleeves, boots, and an orange sunburst on the black central area on his chest, matching sunbursts on the black short sleeves.

(Personal Info)

Personality Characteristics: Alan is cheerful, bright, and honest. He always tries to do the best he can for people around him, and only acts if he feels it would be in the best interest of all. Takes to leadership naturally, though he is more comfortable letting others decide things for themselves.
Affiliation: The Renegades
Abilities: Redirects kinetic energy into a force that, in essence pops him out of reality for a few moments. When he reappears, there is a burst of force as energy is released and he displaces matter around him. The best example I can think of is the Siren Lilith from Borderlands. The energy released is amber colored.
Bio: Alan was originally a normal human, as were all of The Renegades. Volunteers for what they were told were medications to prevent certain types of genetic illnesses, such as diabetes, they were all given injections. The injections altered their genetic structures, and while it did do its job of removing harmful coding, it also caused radical changes in appearance to those affected. The volunteers were kept in a contained structure known as The Box. It was while living in The Box that Alan met the other founding members of the Renegades, though they didn't know it at the time.
While in The Box, Alan realized that if he hit the wall and ceilings around him he would end up on the other side after a bright flash of light. Other people in The Box also began showing these symptoms, but all were different. The doctors that studied and maintained the patients conditions injected "stabilizers" to control the mutations, but Alan first became suspicious of the injections when some of the people began to disappear. They found out the governments of various countries were interested in their new found talents, and began training them for various operations. Alan became part of a search and rescue team, his abilities to move around physical obstacles giving him the ability to move past enemy fortifications.
After their training was complete, only a few groups of Mods, as they had been dubbed, remained, some not surviving the mutations while other had suffered failure in their training. When Alan and his team, consisting of Masamune, James, Lurianna, and Baxter, learned that failure during the exercises had meant death for some with more unstable powers, and that nothing had been done to help them, they began to plan a breakout, knowing that their situation would only get worse if they stayed. Using the training they had received, they slipped into the control rooms and released everyone there before fleeing themselves. They escaped, fighting through heavily armed security forces and aiding anyone they could find.
Returning to a normal life after life in The Box was impossible. Aside from the fact that many of them were anthropomorphic monsters, they were still being hunted by the governments that had trained them, now seen as rogue weapons. Alan and his team now seek to find and unite and Mods that escaped the box, and do what they can to sabotage S.I.N., or Scientific Information Network, that performed the experiments in the first place.
Interesting Facts: Alan is romantically linked to a former Box scientist, known as Issac. Issac was someone who originally developed the power mutation stream, and left the organization before The Box happened because he disagreed with their ethical policies. Issac works for both sides, but anything he gives the government scientists he gives some form of countermeasure to The Renegades.

Alan knows of an inside project, known only in the files as The Thing. While shutting down the security systems during the escape, he came across some files containing information about "the ultimate project, the culmination of all our hard work." As far as Alan knows, the Thing is some sort of amalgamation of the experiments performed on the people living in The Box, though he does not know in what way.


Alternate Universes: Alan, being the character to represent me, gets adapted into other universes if need be. I'll update this section if he ends up going somewhere were a teleporting cheetah might not make sense, and I'll add information about him for that universe.

Bleach Universe: Alan is a Soul Reaper in the universe of Bleach. He has the appearance of a normal human, essentially his "unModded" form, and is a member of Squad 4 under Captain Unohana. His sword takes on a different form then the usual katana, instead looking more like an epee. When released, his weapon becomes cloth bindings on his arms and ankles, and he can extend the arm bandages into a sword-like object, the thickness being based upon how many fingers he uses when he extends the sword. He can also wrap and injured area with the bandages and channel his spirit energy through his weapon to heal the area. He has discovered his Bankai, but detests using it, as the weapon is "only capable of hurting people." When released, he loses the sword's healing abilities, but gains tremendous speed, and the bandages become solid black bracers, the wrist bracers having a trio of blades on them. If his fist makes contact through a punch, he can extend the blades out like his previous form, but all three extend, then spin, shredding whatever they might have hit.

Upper Body Clothes: Rarely wears any. The only time he's worn shirts is either when he wears a suit or if he plans on tearing it off.

Uniform: Black and blue shorts, with TANK written in black on the blue stripes. Wears black arm and ankle bands.

Personality Characteristics: Masamune is a cocky, selfish jerk on the outside, while inside is actually quite caring for people he finds are important to him. An alcoholic and sexaholic, he has little restraint when it comes to public displays of any kind. He tends to ignore what people tell him to, and listens to Alan out of respect.
Affiliation: Former Japanese Military, now part of The Renegades
Abilities: Super-human strength and agility, with few vulnerable spots left due to the reinforced muscle that covered his body.
Bio: Masamune is a former soldier of the Japanese military that was recruited for experimentation in The Box. He had only recently joined the military before he volunteered for experimentation, but had undergone basic training, and was originally excited about the prospect of being turned into a weapon for military use. His pride over his body stopped him from being changed even further into a weapon, and when Alan convinced him that what the scientists were doing was wrong, he agreed to help them escape. He was quick to join the Renegades, wanting to at least fight someone with his new power and knowing more about what the military would send at them then anyone else on the team.
Interesting Facts: Masamune is romantically involved with his fellow Renegade, James, though Masamune tends to be romantically intimate with anyone he can get his hands on.

Personality Characteristics: Bubbly and light-hearted, James is optimistic almost always, cheerful and giving to anyone he meets. He is a flirt and enjoys making people hot under the collar.
Affiliation: The Renegades
Abilities: Telepathy, and the ability to use another Mod's powers against them.
Bio: James was a bright young student when he volunteered for the medical experiments. Optimistic, he took some convincing for Alan to persuade him to leave The Box, wanting to believe the best intentions for those he had known and were no longer around. Only after seeing someone die during a training exercise personally did he realize that the scientists of S.I.N. didn't care about the lives of their subjects. Knowing then what he had to do, he disabled guards so others could escape. He joined the Renegades mostly because they were people he liked, but also because deep down he feels responsible for the deaths of those subjects that he might have saved had he joined Alan's cause sooner.
Interesting Facts: James is actually an extremely powerful telepath, but does not like using his powers on people without their consent. He mostly uses it as a way to search for people who were Box experiments.

Body Build/Type: Curvacious
Body Hair (facial, fur etc.): White house cat fur
Hair Style/color: Can grow her hair, which is blonde, quite easily, but tends to do a short pixie cut and dye it white to match her fur. When her blonde hair is long it's either in a ponytail or in gentle waves around her shoulders. The style is as flexible as any woman's, though.

Personality Characteristics: Lurianna is the definition of ditz. Gullible and kind hearted, she doesn't even get mad if someone takes advantage of her, more just sad that someone would do that. She always tries to be positive, fluffy, and fun.
Affiliation: The Renegades
Abilities: A form of verbal telekinesis, singing causes various effects on the world around her depending on the tone she uses. As a result her normal speaking voice is very quiet, as to not accidentally use her powers. Her most common effect is to create illusions and hallucinations to avoid combat all together.
Bio: Lurianna was a sweet girl, easily tricked into volunteering for The Box experiments. Always trusting, it took little effort to convince her to go along with Alan's escape plans. She didn't like the idea of people getting hurt, and wanted to help in any way she could. She works for the Renegades, as her powers make dealing with people easier, by getting the help of influential supporters of their cause.
Interesting Facts: Before joining The Renegades officially, her friend Baxter convinced her that he was a "titmouse," and he needed her bosom in order to survive. Being as gullible as she is, she agreed to let him spend time against her breasts every day, not knowing that Baxter is really just a dirty old man. She doesn't mind, though, and finds the attention flattering.
