Skyrim
I recently picked up The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. Been playing it off and on, I love my Khajiit character. I have two I'm running, a theif/ranger that I just started, and my older one that's a fighter/mage.
Re: Skyrim
I think I am the only person on earth that hates this game. :b
The personality is great, the story is ok, but the models and texturing is painfully lazy and hard, as a designer, to bear looking at to the point of it making the game impossible to play for me.

I hate it too, it took it's own "arrow to the knee" because it's that badly designed, though it's cool that other people like it for whatever reason.

Re: Skyrim
I thought the game was cool. I've always loved the Elder Scrolls series, and still have Oblivion on my PC. Which, honestly, I like more, mostly because it doesn't feel like everyone in the world wears a layer of dirt. Even the snooty High Elves are dirty in Skyrim, which just gets annoying after a while of looking at it. I was also amazed that you could add more dirt onto your character when you made them. Yes, I love this character I'm making, let's slather more dirt onto him.

Re: Skyrim
Adding in grungy textures and/or a brown or gray filter to everything seems to be what is in the vogue nowadays. It is a lazy alternative to creating an intelligent and creatively thought-out color palette.
Re: Skyrim
I hadn't noticed there being any dirt on the character's faces, but then I've never bother to look that closely at them either. Usually to busy with a quest or something to notice if someone's face is dirty or not. The one thing I do not like about it is the limited customization options for the Kahjitts, there's not enough options for fur coloring/pattern for me.
Re: Skyrim
I have to agree with Cody there. You'd think with a cat based race they'd have a lot of patterns to chose from, but you get pretty much nothing. Just a few meh colors, plus some spots or stripes. That's really it, and it's sad.
